CrossMark policy

CrossMark is a multi-publisher initiative to provide a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a piece of content. By applying the CrossMark logo, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUOMS) is committing to maintaining the content it publishes and to alerting readers to changes if and when they occur.

Clicking on the CrossMark logo will tell you the current status of a document and may also give you additional publication record information about the document.

All journal articles published by TUOMS will have the CrossMark logo, which is limited to current or future content.

All articles will have a ‘first published online’ date that will remain with the record forever. This date refers to the first-time online publication of any article, either ‘ahead of print’ or in an issue of a journal.

TUOMS is committed to uphold the integrity of the literature and publishes Errata, Expressions of Concerns or Retraction Notices depending on the situation and in accordance with its journals’ editorial polices and the COPE Retraction Guidelines. In all cases, these notices are linked to the original article, and the record will have an ‘updated’ date corresponding to the date of article status update.
